Our Masks
We want our masks to do 3 things really well: Connect with our community, Protect our community and Give back to our community.
That's why we've chosen a design that uses a double layer of 100% cotton fabric. Research indicates that a double layer is a lot more effective at containing droplets than a single layer.
Styles
We want our masks to be used by everyone so we spent a lot of time experimenting and creating different patterns. We've come up with a few different designs to give you the choice for the fit that is the best for you.
Bands
Our masks have 2 distinct band styles: Over the ear (OTE) and Double Band. The OTE style is the traditional mask style where the bands go around your ears. But for some that can get annoying. So we created the Double Band for a more secure and comfortable fit. One band goes around your head and the other around your neck.
Masks
Our masks come in two unique patterns: Pleated and Silhouette. If you want a mask that has some extra room and can be adjusted to different lengths and coverage then go with a Pleated style. If you prefer a sleeker and more contoured look that looks as good as it protects then go with the Silhouette style.
Protection
We know that a double layer provides you (and your community) with a lot more protection than a single layer. But these masks are not medical grade and are not a replacement for N95 masks. Our masks should only be used in situations where non-medical masks are appropriate.
